Miller was made an Honorary Tokyo Raider for his part in training the pilots at Eglin Field, Florida and California, before boarding the Hornet). Signed by 25 of the Doolittle Raiders (includes General Doolittle) near their respective photos (and signed by the author Carroll V. Glines, Lt. Col. USAF on title page). On April 18, 1942, 80 airmen were launched from the U. S. aircraft carrier Hornet in overloaded B-25 Mitchell bombers, to bomb Tokyo.
