Bound with half title, frontis and List of Deported Persons and 3 pages of publisher's ads.Three-quarters red leather, by Morrell, all edges gilt. The author and other deputies to the French legislature, were deported to French Guiana, the penal colony that included the infamous Devil's Island. The author managed to escape and made his way to England.
