Enraved half-title, 320pp., embellished with eight engravings with tissue guards. Bound by C. A. Wells of Boston in full embossed reddish-brown morocco, spine title and year gilt, yellow endpaper, all edges gilt, a very handsome copy with only an occasional spot of foxing, corners and edges lightly rubbed otherwise a very handsome copy with no chipping. This copy presents one of Oliver Wendell Holmes' early poems "The Lost Boy" with an engraving.
