First edition in the original parts, 20 parts in 19; original green printed wrappers - ALL wrappers are correct. ALL ads and slips are present, as called for by Hatton & Cleaver, except for the rare "Foreign Travel" slip in part VII, which is known in only 6 copies. Illustrated by Hablot K. Browne. The plates in part III are browned at edges, all others are very good to fine. An outstanding set, internally very clean and bright; minor soiling to a few wrappers; neat owner name on front wrap of part XII; most parts have spines expertly renewed; short closed marginal tear to rear wrap of 19/20, expertly repaired.
