INSCRIBED "To Carol" and signed by all four Beatles, on the verso of an early original black and white 8" x 10" of the Fab Four, taken on a street in London. Ringo's autograph in light brown ink, the others in bold dark blue. Framed in a museum quality frame, showing the autographs, an engraved biography of the Beatles and a handsome color photo of the Boys. The Beatles were certainly one of the most popular and successful musical groups of the 20th century. The group consisted of: Paul McCartney. b. June 18, 1942. Ringo Starr. b. Richard Starkey. July 7, 1940. John Lennon. b. October.9, 1940-d.1980 George Harrison. b. February 25, 1943-d.November 29, 2001. All were born in Liverpool, England or suburbs. They were awarded the M.B.E. (Member of the Order of the British Empire) title by the Queen in 1964. Lennon and McCartney composed hundreds of songs and may were held in high regard by serious musicians. The Beatles will be remembered for their music. Lennon and McCartney wrote the words and music for the documentary "All This and World War II" (1976), and McCartney composed songs for several films, notably "Live and Let Die" (1973).
