One of 75 copies, signed by Carol Cunningham (designer, printer and binder) at the Sunflower Press; 16mo (2 7/8" x 2 5/8"); a deluxe copy, bound in full black leather with Twain's likeness in gilt on front panel; red end papers; 27 pages, the colophon reads "A portion of the original story has been deleted." The Raft Passage appears in the 1876 original manuscript of Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, following the second paragraph in Chapter XVI. The Raft Passage does not appear in authorized editions of Huck Finn, however Twain inserted it into Life on the Mississippi, following paragraph 6 in Chapter III. Housed in a handsome gray clamshell box, with leather lable on spine, printed in gilt.
