first printing, in about very good dust jacket, with price of $2.00 on front flap; a lovely, fine copy, internally clean and bright, with no markings of any kind. Dust jacket with chip at head of spine and a rather large closed tear on rear panel, with a few creases. The second Charlie Chan novel; in "The Chinese Parrot" Chan is no longer the stereotyped Oriental, but is now the fully developed, more human character. Only 3 copies show in the auction record.
