In the original monthly parts; 20 parts in 19, in the original green pictorial wrappers. ALL wrappers are correct. ALL the ads called for by Hatton & Cleaver are present. An outstanding set, such as we have not seen, with many parts UNOPENED, therefore, unread, and with the FIRST ISSUE OF THE TEXT, uncorrected thus: in part I, page 19, line 6 with "elgble" - part VII, page 209, line 23 with "chair" - part IX, page 275, line 22 with "counsinship." The unopened parts are: VIII, X, XII, XIII, XIV, XIX/XX. The plates are very good to fine. Octavo [i-vii]viii-x[xi]xii-xiv[xv]xvi, 2-624. Spines are expertly renewed on parts I, II and III; bookseller stamp on front wrap of part XVII. Housed in a handsome tan quarter-leather slipcase, with chemise.
